"Lee J. Buchanan, 77, of Rogersville, janitor at Center Township High School for the past 26 yers, died at his home Monday, June 11, 1951, following a lingering illness.

Mr. Buchanan was born on June 8, 1874, in Franklin Township, a son of the late William and Isabelle Archer Buchanan. He had married Ocie Bowler on April 17, 1901, and the couple had just celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.

He was a member of the Rogersville Christian Church and had spent most of his life in that community.

Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Clark, of Rogersville; Mrs. Margaret Owen, of West Finley, R.D. 2; a son, Roy, of Waynesburg; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother Andrew of Pittsburgh, and a sister Mrs. O. N. Hewitt of Waynesburg. A son, a sister and a brother are deceased."
