"In Memoriam.

Anna Wilma, little daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Lee Buchanan, died at her home near Rogersville, Dec. 2nd 1911, aged three years and 14 days, after a few days' illness of tubercular meningitis. All was done that loving hands could do to prolong her life, but to no avail; God thought it best to remove her from her sufferings to a world of happiness and joy. God said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Notwithstanding little Wilma cannot return to us, but we can go to her. She was a bright little girl, and was loved by all who knew her. Oh. How sad it is to part with those we love so well. But God's will, not ours, be done. It will only be a little while until we all shall be called and then meet her again. Dear parents and friends, do not grieve for your little girl, she has only gone before. Our loss is her gain. She leaves to mourn her loss, Father, Mother, and three sisters, Mollie, Maggie and Fern, besides many relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at her home by Rev. Reeves, Pastor of the Christian Church, Sunday, Dec. 3rd, after which she was laid to rest in the Bowler burying ground.

Jesus called our little darling
To his home beyond the skies.
We can meet her at the portals,
Where there'll be no weeping eyes.

There was an angel land in heaven,
That was not quite complete;
So God took our darling Wilma,
To fill the vacant seat.

Through all pain at times she smiled,
A smile of heavenly birth;
And when the angel called her home,
She smiled farewell to Earth.

Her chair is empty now,
Her clothes are lain away,
But the sweetest thought to us should be,
That we shall meet Wilma some sweet day.

Sweet be thy rest little Wilma,
In the grave beneath the sod,
Oh, how could we give her up,
To anyone but God.

An aunt."
