"Waynesburg - Margaret H. Adamson, 96, of Waynesburg, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 1983 at the Eastern Star Home, Pittsburgh, where she had resided since October 1976. Born May 28, 1887 in Cameron, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late Richard L. and Elizabeth H. Adams. Her husband, Howard C. Adamson, died Dec. 10, 1971. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waynesburg where she served as deconess [sic deaconess], Sunday School teacher and was past president of the women's society. She was also a member of the Pleasant Hour Club and was a charter member and past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Emerald Chapter 135. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Neva) Ritgers of Ankeny, Iowa. She was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Edward and Charles Adams; and a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Davis." |
