"Mrs. Elizabeth Kent, of wife [sic wife of] David Kent, dec'd, and sister of Wm. Bowers [sic Barnes], of Franklin township, died at her residence on East Main street on Saturday evening last. Aged 76 years. She was taken seriously ill on Sunday the 13th inst. with an affection of the heart and remained in that condition up till the time of her death. The deceased was the mother of a large family all of whom have grown up to man and womanhood; had an extensive acquaintances and was noted for her many good traits of character. She was a member of the Disciple's church. The funeral took place yesterday, the remains being interred in Green Mount Cemetery."
