"John H. Biggins, of Waynesburg, died in the hospital at Canonsburg, Pa., June 6, at 7:45 p.m., as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Biggins, of Waynesburg, and born at Rice's Landing, Pa., being 42 years of age. His parents removed here in 1884 and he had resided with them. He attended the schools here and Waynesburg college. For a number of years he had devoted his attention to tile setting and had done much fine work in Waynesburg residences and public buildings. He was a young man of fine disposition and exemplary habits and was highly respected by everyone. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic church. Beside his parents, he is survived by one sister, Miss Alice Biggins, at home, and one brother, Edward Biggins, assistant superintendent of the Gulf Refining company, Port Arthur, Texas. The funeral arrangements await the arrival of the brother, Edward Biggins, who is expected to reach Waynesburg on Friday evening." |
