Description / Citation: Photograph
of David Staggers and his wife, Phoebe Jane (Eakin) Staggers. Handwritten
inscription on back of photograph reads, "David and Jennie Staggers taken
about 1875 or before." Original, professional photograph from Roger &
Guiher, Photographers, Waynesburg, Pa. The Ralph Kent Staggers Series photographs
were owned by Ralph Kent Staggers, son of George Ralph Staggers [1893-1971]
& Martha M. Kent [1891-1969]. The photographs were purchased at auction
in 2004 by Candice Lynn Buchanan who owned and shared the photographs with
the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Photo Archives Project
in 2008. The Ralph Kent Staggers Series is a part of the Candice Lynn Buchanan
Collection.
