Chambers Hays. Original, professional photograph, no photographer listed.
Photograph is in a Union Case made by A. P. Critchlow & Co., Maunfacturers
of Daguerreotype Cases, Hinge patented 14 October 1856. Identity researched
by Linda Cunningham Fluharty who discovered the name "Calvin Miner" on
a piece of paper encased with photograph and proceeded to show that Collin
Minor's Civil War service record at the National Archives interchanges
his given name as both Collin and Calvin. In 2005, Linda Cunningham Fluharty
sold the original photograph to Candice Lynn Buchanan who owned and shared
the photograph with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania
Photo Archives Project in 2005. The Miscellaneous Series is a part of the
Candice Lynn Buchanan Collection.
