Description / Citation: Photograph
of Lee Vernon Kent - son of Spencer B. Kent & Elizabeth Jacobs. Original,
professional photograph from Hawkins & Johnson, Masontown, Pa. The
Mariah "Mae" (Kent) Finch Collection photographs were passed from Spencer
B. Kent [1842-1919] and his wife, Elizabeth Jacobs [1844-1885], to their
daughter Mariah "Mae" Kent [1875-1969] and her husband, Milton Bryan Finch
[1871-1941], to their children Thomas Finch [1906-1988] and Doris Aldine
Finch [1908-2001]. Thomas's photographs were passed to his daughter Shirley
(Finch) Collins; Doris's photographs were passed to her grandnephew Michael
Collins. Shirley (Finch) Collins and Michael Collins owned and shared the
photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Photo
Archives Project in 2007. Each generation added to the collection with
photographs from their own family and in-laws.
