BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF Dora Frances (Masters) Anderson

Dora Frances (Masters) Anderson was born 19 March 1895 in Greene County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Jefferson L. "Jesse" Rice and Isabelle Harden. On 31 January 1921 she was united in marriage with Charles Calvin Anderson [1902-1927]. Dora passed away on 16 November 1973 at the Greene County Memorial Hospital in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The Dora Frances (Masters) Anderson Collection photographs were passed from Isabelle (Harden) Masters [1860-1932] to her daughter Dora Frances (Masters) Anderson [1895-1973] to her children and grandchildren who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Photo Archives Project in 2009. Each generation added to the collection with photographs from their own family and in-laws.

The collection was divided into series which were initially arranged by family; however, additional photos continue to be added to the end of the series as they are shared for scanning. For best results, use the ANDE Collection Index to look for specific individuals or subjects.

*The Harden Series (Catalogue Code: AN002) photographs feature descendants of William Harden and his wife, Mary Horner.
