BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF PHILIP KING BUCHANAN

Philip King Buchanan is a son of Philip Paul Buchanan [1894-1985] and Blanche Katherine King.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The Philip King Buchanan Collection photographs feature the descendants of Philip Swart Buchanan [1851-1927] and his wife, Jennie A. Lewis [1861-1942], who moved from Greene County, Pennsylvania to Jefferson County, Ohio in 1883. The photographs were passed from Philip Paul Buchanan [1894-1985] and his wife, Blanche Katherine King, to their son, Philip King Buchanan, who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Photo Archives Project in 2009.

The collection was initially arranged by family; however, additional photos continue to be added to the end of the collection as they are shared for scanning. For best results, use the BUCH Collection Index to look for specific individuals or subjects.
