BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF JAMES WAREEN ELMS

James Warren Elms is a great-great-grandson of George Elms and his wife, Sarah Ann (Jones) Elms of Greene County, Pennsylvania. He descends through their son Jacob Hufty Elms and his wife, Kate Putnam.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The James Warren Elms Collection photographs were passed from James Richard Elms [1902-1984] and his wife, Clara Laura Estelle Ives [1892-1971], to their son James Rodney Elms to his son James Warren Elms who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Photo Archives Project in 2007.

The photographs in this collection were initially arranged by family; however, additional photos continue to be added to the end of the collection as they are shared for scanning. For best results, use the ELMS Collection Index to look for specific individuals or subjects.
