BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF JAMES ARTHUR FENSKE

James Arthur Fenske is the son of Herman Fenske [1896-1975] and his wife, Lettie Harriet Buchanan [1892-1985].

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The James Arthur Fenske Collection photographs were passed from David Buchanan [1844-1933] and his wife, Mary Ann Rinehart [1859-1931], to their surviving children, William Arthur Buchanan [1881-1963] and Lettie Harriet (Buchanan) Fenske [1892-1985], to Lettie's son James Arthur Fenske who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Photo Archives Project between 2002 and 2009. Each generation added to the collection with photographs of their own family and in-laws.

The collection was initially arranged by family; however, additional photos continue to be added to the end of the collection as they are shared for scanning. For best results, use the FENJ Collection Index to look for specific individuals or subjects.
