BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF MARY “MAMIE” (THROCKMORTON) BONHAM

Mary “Mamie” (Throckmorton) Bonham was born in Greene County, Pennsylvania on 14 August 1887, the eldest child of William Harvey Throckmorton and Lucy Jane McGlumphy. She was united in marriage with Samuel Marion Bonham on 17 May 1911.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The Mary “Mamie” (Throckmorton) Bonham Collection photographs were passed from William Harvey Throckmorton [1850-1921] and his wife, Lucy Jane McGlumphy [1861-1933] to their daughter Mary “Mamie” (Throckmorton) Bonham [1887-1974] to her niece Maggie Belle (Hartzell) (Rush) Conklin who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Photo Archives Project in 
2008. The collection features family photographs and includes carte-de-visites, tintypes and cabinet cards, among others.

The collection has been divided into two series: McGlumphy and Throckmorton.

The series were initially arranged by family; however, additional photos continue to be added to the end of the series as they are shared for scanning. For best results, use the THRM Collection Index to look for specific individuals or subjects.
