BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF JOANNE CHRISTINA WALTON

Joanne Christina Walton is a daughter of Daniel Spindler Walton [1931-1998] and his wife, Jacqueline A. Timmins [1932-1999].

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The Joanne Christina Walton Collection photographs were passed from Daniel Spindler Walton [1931-1998] and his wife, Jacqueline A. Timmins [1932-1999], to their daughter Joanne Christina Walton who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Photo Archives Project in 2009.

The collection has been divided into two series: Walton and Wood. The series were initially arranged by family; however, additional photos continue to be added to the end of the series as they are shared for scanning. For best results, use the WALT Collection Index to look for specific individuals or subjects.

* The Walton Series (Catalogue Code: AN001)  photographs feature descendants of Daniel Spindler Walton [1853-1934] and his wife, Mary Ann "Mollie" Buchanan [1854-1936].

* The Wood Series (Catalogue Code: AN002) photographs feature the family of Edwin Thomas Wood [1881-1932] and his wife, Andrewella Ragan "Andie" Beazell [1875-1947]. Andrewella was a great-granddaughter of Andrew Buchanan [1780-1848] and his wife, Rhoda Stevenson [1784-1869], through which mutual ancestors the Waltons and Woods were cousins.
