"Daniel Goodwin, an aged and highly respected citizen, died at his home in Richhill township, Thursday, April 6, aged 85 years. He is survived by the following children: John and Mary, at home; Mrs. Richard Supler, and Mrs. D. W. Vanatti, of Richhill township. Ex-sheriff John T. Goodwin and William Goodwin, of this place, are brothers of the deceased. The funeral services were held on Saturday. Interment at the South Wheeling Baptist church."
