"John Goodwin, a well known resident of Richhill township, died in the Mercy hospital, Pittsburgh, Monday morning, October 24, following an operation. Mr. Goodwin was aged 72 years and had spent his entire life in Richhill township, where he engaged in farming. He was a member of the South Wheeling Baptist church. Two sisters survive, Mrs. Mary A. Foulke, of near Wind Ridge, with whom he made his home, and Mrs. Sarah Vanatti, of Washington, Pa. The funeral was held Wednesday at 1 p. m., at the home of J. D. Durbin. Interment in the Lazear cemetery." |
