""Mrs. Katherine Hook Wise, widow of Morgan R. Wise, deceased, died at the home of her son, Joseph Wise, of Nogales, Arizona, Tuesday, January 9. Mrs. Wise was a daughter of Jesse and Lucy Hook, deceased, and was born at the old Hook homestead in East Waynesburg. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was highly esteemed. Two children survive, Joseph Wise, of Nogales, Arizona, and Mrs. Lucy W. Mansfield, of Sewickley, Pa. The body will arrive here Saturday morning and short funeral services will be held in the Methodist Episcopal church at 2 p.m. Interment in Green Mount cemetery."
