Description / Citation: Photograph
of the old Methodist Cemetery, East Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania.
The cemetery was abandoned in the early 1960s; the site is now occupied
by a housing project. A memorial to those known to have been buried in
this cemetery stands in Section P, Lot 99 of Green Mount Cemetery, Waynesburg,
Pa. Original, candid. The William Francis Jacobs Collection photographs
were passed from Joseph Warren Jacobs [1868-1947] and his wife, Mary Emma
Dulaney [1878-1958], to their son William Francis Jacobs and his wife,
Audrey Muriel Lamb, to their son David Kent Jacobs who owned and shared
the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania
Photo Archives Project in 2006. Each generation added to the collection
with photographs from their own family and in-laws.
