"Mrs. Maria Kent Thomas, wife of Lindsey Thomas, died at their home in Franklin township, Monday evening, January 22, aged 69 years, of a complication of diseases. Mrs. Thomas was a member of White's Christian church and was highly esteemed. Beside her husband she is survived by one son, F. G. Thomas, of Franklin township and one brother, S. B. Kent, of Waynesburg, and a sister, Mrs. Cecilia Bryan, of Ryerson Station. The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. J. P. Allison, of Waynesburg. Interment in White's cemetery."
