"Silas Wright Loller died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Blair, in South Waynesburg, Monday afternoon, November 6, aged 78 years. Several weeks ago he fell and fractured one of his hips and later pneumonia developed which caused his death. Mr. Loller was born in Warren county, N. J., October 20, 1844, but came to Greene county when he was a young man, and spent the greater part of his life in Richhill township. He was united in marriage with Miss Elizabeth Bryan, of near Ryerson Station, whose death occurred several years ago. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. One daughter, Mrs. John Blair, with whom he made his home, and one sister, Mrs. C. A. Swayze, of Hope, N. J., survive. The funeral services were held Tuesday evening, conducted by the Rev. J. N. Scholes, pastor of the Christian church. Wednesday the body was interred in the family burying ground near Ryerson Station."
