Greene County, Pennsylvania. Identified: BACK ROW - Samuel S. Watson (5th
from right), Smith Watson (8th from right), George Washington Watson (12th
from right); 5TH ROW - Blanche (Phillips) Watson (3rd from left); 4TH ROW
- Robert Watson (2nd from right), Catharine (Anderson) Watson (3rd from
right); 3RD ROW - Ella May (Watson) Throckmorton (8th from right); 2ND
ROW - Unidentified; FRONT ROW - Unidentified. Original, professional photograph
from Cole & Wallace, Art Studio, Waynesburg, Pa. The Watson-Anderson
Series photographs were most likely passed from Robert Watson [1847-1942]
and his wife, Catharine Anderson [1848-1933] to their daughter Ella May
(Watson) Throckmorton [1893-1988] and her husband, Robert Lawrence Throckmorton,
Sr. [1889-1964] to their daughter, Katherine Jane (Throckmorton) Toothman
who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene
County, Pennsylvania Photo Archives Project in 2006. The Watson-Anderson
Series is a part of the Katherine Jane (Throckmorton) Toothman Collection.
