Description / Citation: Photograph believed to be a Normal School class at Waynesburg College, where Blanche Susan (Patterson) Cummins and Pearle Loreno (Patterson) White both attended. Original, professional photograph, no photographer listed. The Patterson Series photographs were passed from James L. Patterson [1830-1912] and his wife, Susan Grove [1830-1919], to their son James Lindsey Patterson [1860-1914] and his wife, Jennie Spragg [1861-1922], to their daughters, Blanche Susan (Patterson) Cummins [1890-1981] and Pearle Loreno (Patterson) White [1900-1987], both of whom passed their photographs to Pearle's granddaughter Thelma (White) Yeager who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Photo Archives Project in 2005. Each generation added to the collection with photographs from their own family and in-laws. The Patterson Series is a part of Thelma (White) Yeager Collection.
