Grave Records for Emma Jane (Downey) Hoge
 

Emma's obituary indicates that she is buried in Green Mount Cemetery in Waynesburg, where tombstones for she and her infant son are located in the Downey family lot; however, a larger, older marker also exists for her in Smith Cemetery I in Morgan Township, where her husband's family is at rest. Solomon Fisher Hoge's inscription is on the reverse of this stone for Emma. It is consequently not clear where she and her baby are actually buried.
