couple of weeks ago, was laying very low with typhoid fever, died last
Saturday morning. Mr. Kanaan resided near Jollytown, West Va., the section
of country which has been so terribly scourged for the last six mont[h]s
with this fever. Mr. Kanaan was a good citizen and a christian, and leaves
an old father and mother, besides a wife and children to mourn his loss."
