"We are sorry to have to record the death of Mrs. Sadie _. B. McConnell, wife of William B. McConnell, and daughter of J.A.J. Buchanan, Esq., of this place. Mrs. McC. was married two years since and moved with her husband to Angola, Ind. where she contracted a malarious disease. She returned to her father's house some six weeks since; though sick at the time no fears were apprehended for her until two days before her death, when she began gradually to sink away without apparent pain, when the Angel of Death called her away at ten minutes past ten o'clock on Saturday morning last. She was young, beautiful, deeply beloved by all her friends, happily married, and had fine prospects in life. Her loss seems sad beyond measure. The friends have the deepest sympathy of our whole community in their bereavement."
