"Mrs. Ella Gilmore Rinehart, aged 82, well known Waynesburg woman, widow of Henry A. Rinehart, died at 2:15 o'clock Sunday afternoon, May 18, 1930, at her home in North Morris street. Mrs. Rinehart had been ill for several weeks and her death was due to a complication of ailments incident to her advanced years. Mrs. Rinehart was born October 7, 1848, in Fayette county, a daughter of Joseph and Louisa Allison Gilmore, and had resided in Waynesburg since the age of 12 years. Mrs. Rinehart was a graduate of Waynesburg College, being a member of the class of 1868, and was a member of the Presbyterian church. She is survived by one daughter, Louise R. Abell, wife of H. L. Abell, of Washington, and one son, Charles B. Rinehart, at home. One grandson, James F. Abell, also survives. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Rinehart home, 48 North Morris street. The services will be conducted by Rev. McLeod Harvey, of Waynesburg College. Interment will be in Green Mount cemetery."
