"Mrs. Addie May Smith, 90, of Washington, died at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 1962, in the Washington Hospital as a result of burns she suffered recently.

Mrs. Smith was born February 26, 1872, in Richhill Township, near Graysville, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sowers.

Her husband, Barney Ellsworth Smith, is deceased.

She resided most of her life in Greene County and lived in Washington for 15 years.

Surviving are three children, James A. Smith, Sr., of Mt. Morris Star Route, Waynesburg; Clarence Smith, of Gabby Heights, Washington; Mrs. Belle Cole, Washington; 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was the last of her family. Seven sons and one daughter are deceased."
