Dear Mrs. Tubbs:

Once again I must apologize. Some of the
Alumni of the College have been making group pictures
of old classes and had taken charge of your Mother’s
picture along with the rest. I am sending you this
picture and one of the group pictures we had made up.
You may keep this group picture. You will notice that
your mother is placed first, because all the evidence
points to the fact that she was the first one to come
to the platform, thus making her the first one to re-
ceive a degree from Waynesburg College. Her classmates
pictures are below her picture.
