"We learn that Miss Annie Adams died at Chetopa, Labette county, Kas., on Wednesday evening the 13th inst. Miss Adams was a daughter of the late Elijah Adams and was well known as a former efficient matron of the Children's Home in this county. She, in connection with Mrs. Mary Myers conducted the affairs of that institution in a very capable and satisfactory manner for a term of years. She died from the effects of paralysis. Deceased leaves a number of brothers and sisters and an extended circle of friends to regret the loss of a most excellent woman. The remains were interred at Chetopa."
