"Mrs. Elizabeth Bryan Loller, wife of Silas W. Loller, died at her home, in Richhill township, Aug. 3, from typhoid fever and other ailments. She was the daughter of Weeden J. and Cecelia Kent Bryan and was aged 59 years. During her young womanhood she had attended Waynesburg College and had many acquaintances here. In 1872 she was united in marriage to Silas W. Loller and during most of the period since they had resided near Ryerson Station, at the Bryan homestead. Mr. Bryan during his lifetime was the owner of about 2,800 acres of land, underlaid with coal, in Greene county, Pa., and Marion county, W. Va. Mrs. Loller being his only child inherited this property, which has become very valuable. One daughter, Miss Antoinette, the husband and Mrs. Loller's mother are surviving. The funeral was held on Saturday at 2 p. m., the services being conducted by Revs. C. F. Anderson and J. I. Gromry, of Cameron, W. Va. The interment was in the home burial ground." |
