The generations in my family are pretty spread out, and since I'm on the younger end of the spectrum, I've grown up with a lot of stories of people and places, but not a lot of personal connection. I've enjoyed reconnecting with cousins and putting faces with names, as well as hearing other family stories not previously passed down to me.
