I seriously began researching my family roots about 30 years ago.  My mother, Bernice Knight Marshall, was the source for most of the Greene County research because she grew up on a farm along Pursley Creek in Center Twp. (near Oak forest).  My fathers side of the family is rooted in Westmoreland County, PA.
 
Genealogy is one of my main hobbies.  It consumes some time out of every day, through internet connections.
