The 1855 Waynesburg College Graduation Catalogue is very unique. Within its used pages are an address and postmark where it was sent to West Point Military Academy prior to the Civil War, personal notes from a young woman (Miss Maggie Minor) to a young man (Mr. James B. Lazear), personal notes of that young man added later in life, and an attacheded obituary. The story reveals itself if the reader pays attention to the handwritten additions, the inserted page, and the front and back covers.
