  12. Family data, J. A. J. Buchanan Family Bible, Holy Bible, (Troy, NY: Merriam, Moore & Co., 1848). The Buchanan Family Bible information was started by Hon. Andrew Buchanan. On December 13, 1853, J. A. J. Buchanan transcribed the information from the original Bible to his own Bible afterwhich he continued the family record. The current owner and location of the Bible are unknown, but a transcribed copy of the family record is located in the Buchanan file at the Cornerstone Genealogical Society (144 E. Greene Street, PO Box 547; Waynesburg, Pennsylvania 15370). Births. Andrew Buchanan, April 8, 1780.
